I live and drive in suburbia USA, a place filled with ever widening arterials, overused residential streets, oddly laid out intersections and dotted with a myriad of impulsively erected traffic signals. This is a place that has, in the last 15 years or so, grown from a small quiet town with an aggressive police force to a large and very busy city with an aggressive police force. Here you can be ticketed for moving into a center turn lane one car length earlier than you absolutely need to to make the turn.
"That can cause an accident," the officer says.
Of course, except for that one incident, I am a perfect driver. A driver who has, in an involuntary manner by dint of frequent exposure, mentally catalogued several exasperating behaviors of the imperfect drivers who fill the streets alongside and, especially, in front of me as I make my way to work and to home each day.
I thought I should use this site to list some of these things that drivers do that piss me right off.
I'll have to do that later, though, as right now I need to drive to the office.
